Well I expect our highest score of 232 to get broken if we stand any chance of winning. Also if we reach 240 that would mean we would have scored 240 against every G8 team which would complete the set.

Now that the team selection is done (final 13 anyways)
1. Can BD record its first win against ENG
2. How much gap can Shakib close towards Ash as the leading ODI run getter
3. Which ODI will it take Tamim to cross Bashar
4. Can Aftab break the 1K mark
5. Will Riad see enough overs to cross the 1K mark
6. Can Junaed FINALLY cross the 500 mark
7. Maybe Naeem and Imrul can as well
8. We will surely cross 232, right?
9. Can Shakib cross the 100 wicket barrier
10. Who between Mash and Razzak will keep the record of most ODI wickets at the end of the series
11. Can we beat the JO/Ash 125 run partnership vs. ENG
12. Will some score more than 94 in an innings vs. ENG
13. Will we miss Ash or is this the start of a much needed new chapter for BD

Small mistake Raynman. Isn't our biggest victory against a G8 team the one against SA in WC '07?

My projected numbers in 3 ODI games:
I hope all the boys exceed the projected score. Especially Mushi, Junaed and Aftab.

Thats 245 per match with the bowlers yet to bat if true.
I'm gonna predict at least one 40+ score for each of the above listed.

ODI #1 : Tamim century (#3), highest against ENG, highest against a G8. Surpasses Bashar and almost caught up with Shakib (38 behind)
Razzak & Mash both fail to take wickets.
Junaid probably has no desire to break that 500 mark
Mushy continues his more drops/misses than dismissals

The race for 500 runs is hotting up.
Currently:
Abdur Razzak: 491
Junaid Siddique: 488
Naeem Islam: 458
Imrul Kayes: 329
Shafiul Islam: 25
My money is on Abdur Razzak to get their first, then Naeem Islam, then Imrul Kayes. It's going to be quite tight between Junaid and Shafiul, but I think Junaid might just beat him to it.

Lol, Junaid has been frustrating me with this 500 mark since I started putting these together.
I'm going with Naeem to get there 1st, Kayes next. I'll leave it to an Yet to debut batsman to beat Junaid to it.

Imrul in NZ and Tamim in this match.
I think thats the final growth stage left in Tamim's game. I was one of his early criticizers but he has impressed with his willingness to learn.
I was surprised that he didn't take the singles in the PP and give strike to Razzak at all, even on ball 4.

The carrying the bat record; is it a record never acheived by any of our openers? Or just Tamim and Imrul?

ODI #2 had some nice touches:
50's by Mushy (#6), Imrul (#2, 3rd 50+ score)
Mushy moves past Kapali & Rafique
Highest total vs. ENG
Shakib getting closer to 100 wickets (94)
Razzak breaks drought and moves past Mash as all time wicket taker

We've now scored at least 240 against each of the G8, although if you exclude Windies B Team in summer 2009, then Windies are the only team left.
