Not quite. This poll indicates that JO bashers are increasing in number, and one day all BD fans may start bashing him like they used to in case of Chacha.
I'm very satisfied with the result.

Yeah right, one day Javed will be replaced by better one and you will WIN, till then you have to lose the GAME you are playing, every time you attempt.
And it's all right as long as you having fun out of it.

No one else in world cricket is as inviting to LBW attempts as is JO.
JO should be gracefully retired ASAP.
Anyone knows Chacha's phone number? Time to consult him.

where is the poll? Do u still want JO in the team? Give NI and Nazmus Saadat or Mehrab they would not do any worse. Am I prove the point? Did spitty prove the point?

We have a opening batsman who does not deserve to in the team. he scored his last fifty in england almost 10 months ago. and the way he is playing looks like his days are over. its now the time for our selectors to realise the fact. javed is aging and doesn't have anything to offer to the team. and he certainly can't stop a collapse

Dont worry guys.We are not going to play any test this year.So this will be his last test of his carrier.I hope our selectors will not pick him again after his minnow bashing performence in domestic league.

well, i won't start wanting anyone's head at least until this test match is over, but looking at the number of odi matches that we will be playing against zimbabwe and kenya in the next twelve months or so, i think we will do good to try out several alternatives to come up with the right combination for the world cup.
and this doesn't apply to the opening position only, but also to the number 5 and 6 positions as well.

Along with Golla; Bashar and Ashrafool should also get kicked out! If Ash fails in the 2nd inning I'll start my own clan to axe him!

Yeah, and we will need a new poll anyway. This poll was made before the test series.

Thats so tempting. But seeing the reality of the next year's tour schedule, I'd stick Ashraful in to play the minnows. His attitude should be able to demonstrate if he learns anything. As for JO, he ought to score 10 runs off a 100 balls in the 2nd innings and depart from the scene gracefully. He's crowding Nafees Iqbal's plate. JO isnt getting any younger, and NI in his place couldnt be any worse.

some of u people deserve a bashing...literally! how could u insult a great contributer to bangladesh cricket. his batting may not look attractive, and his recent scores may not be something to write home about, but he has done so much for our team in terms of keeping his opening wicket, steadying the innings relating back when we often used to be 20/5. his snails pace innings is what we need as a developing cricketing nation as we have many players who play wild shots getting out, but we have JO who stays in for the recovery stage. It would be very wrong to dismiss such an experienced player as that is what we need...ive just had frightening memories of the WC2003 disaster where our team were full of young and inexperienced players...we will be in that sort of situation again in the next world cup if u drop JO, and some of saying bash n ash should go to which is an outrage as we need as much experience as possible as for the long term, the young and the inexperienced need the guidance!

Thats precisely the point. He is no longer his old self. And as long as he is being consistently aggressive, given his limited abilities its backfiring. You might as well give young Nafees Iqbal a chance. It couldnt get any worse. The only thing JO was good for was giving our innings solidity and patience. He hasnt done that in QUITE a while!

My Identity
Yes, I am a JO lover.
But, My team comes before him. JO's game has always been an unique one. It seems as if he is obeying something written in the bible. "Yes, one more time, he has failed to move beyond his usual 20s"- and Yes, that's one more time from the commentators.
If we don't bring back Nafees Iqbal, and stick with him, we are just not allowing ourselves to move forward!

Please read this. He was never there to rebuild the innings when we have 5 down.In fact he was only twice there after 5 wicket down. In one case he was the sixth man out and the other case he carried the bat - creating the ever lasting myth. By the way we were/are horrible but not as horrible as 20/5. Regarding great contributer. Let me tell you he is not in the top 10 performers of Bangladesh crciket history. I m giving you some hard facts.
1. Akram (the architect of Bangladesh Test Status, if u forgot or does not know about the Holland Game in ICC tropy, then you are just a glory hunter)
2. Atahar Ali (the only international player in pre-test era)
3. Ash ( I may not be a member of his fan club, but this guy is the pure genious, architect of our greatest victory in ODI)
4. Badsha The only player to represnent Bangladesh in Asian XI during pre test era
4. Bulbul (His century in first test prove that we belong to elite group)
5. Chacha (I may one of his Basher, but I ignore his contribution in our cricket specially after 2003 debacle, then I am ungrateful)
6. Nafees Iqbal (Yes, you are reading right, his performance againest Zim is the best demonastration by a Bangladeshi Batsman in test)
7.Pilot (I did not forgive him for 2003 debacle, but so many times he carried Bangladesh in respectable total)
8. Rafiq (The first world class bolwler of Bangladesh Cricket)
10. Sumon ( the only beacon of our test batting for a long long time)
As you would find that there is no place for such stalwart like Nannu, Lipu or the first century maker for Bangladesh Opi. If you are still believe that JO is great then I have nothing to say.

Javed has no place in bangladesh cricket history. he is just a player with no talent. he can't play shots and thats why he doesn't get out playing shots. but he gets LBW more often and any others cause his technich is poor. and the guys who thought javed is collapse stopper, they are wrong. cause you can see in this series that he couldn't keep his wicket when collapse started.
I hate his batting. and he does not deserve to be in the team
