ind v pak - big match today in icc champions trophy
i expect ind to win comfortably.
inds bowling has come up with pathan, nehra and harbhajan all looking good and even the batsmen r in form with ganguly getting 2 consecutive 90s, dravid hitting a quickfire 30, kaif getting 50s and 49s. also this time, ind has a regular keeper in dinesh kartik, who already has 5 dismissals in 2 matches. also there is always sehwag who wants to hit a odi 200.

Yes i beleive india will win but pakistan have had the wood on them of late. should be an interesting match. Where is Parthiv Patel why have they gone with Kartik instead of him.

ind 200 all out
i cant understand y wasnt dinesh kartik selected this has got to be the most stupidest mistake ever made by the selectors.
dinesh kartik was more than impressive in the 2 odis he played taking 4 catches + a great stumping of vaughan. 5 dismissals in 2 odis @ 2.5 dismissals per match and he finds himself out of the team.
this is just not fair.
shame on indian selctors

Hope India pulls off this one. Might be a tight match though. May the better team win

After losing 3 wickets, Pakistan is trying to come up depending on Inzamam and Youhana. Let's see.

I K Pathan 7.0 1 11 3
Irfan Pathan is the pick of the bowlers so far. Hes doing good. Perhaps India does have a potential pace bowler who is consistent.

The pressure is now on Pakistan as Inzamam fell to Agarkar.
Pakistan Innings
141-5 (38.3 overs)
They just need sixty runs from here on... I have a feeling Pakistan will win no matter how great the pressure.

Whoa! Turned out to be a very close game. Pakistan won with 4 balls to spare. I just looked at the scorecard at cricinfo, and noticed Afridi hitting 25 off 12. It must've been "really" tight. Good strategy by Woolmer to play Afridi way down the order. This quickfire 25 was definitely one of his best match-winning knocks.

Shahid Afridi turned the match around and Youhana (and Dravid for India) once again showed the importance of having a steady bat in every team. Poor naved-ul-hasan rana almost handed the game to India in the end. I am pretty sure that he is a very talented player but today, he was a clear example of mental weakness (like that of the BD batsmen). There is some talent but if you don't believe in yourself, it amounts to nothing. Kenya has the mental strenght and that saw them win some matches and put up a good fight every now and then.

It may sound cruel, but I am happy that Ind lost. Their arrogant attitude "we won't play ODI with BD...", "start n-tier" etc... will take them nowhere but down.
Way to go Pak.

Personally, I'm neither a fan of team India nor that of Pakistan. However, I'm a big fan of some players from both team.
Even though, I was deeply disappointed and even offended by Ganguli's comments and his board's recent views towards us, I like to keep my emotion drastically checked.
It was a close game and the better team won.
I just hope India, Pakistan and SriLanka would lend their experienced and helpful hands to their strugling neighbour.
