Offspinner Sohag Gazi, who claimed Man-of-the-Match awards on Test and ODI debut during West Indies' ongoing tour of Bangladesh, has been named in the hosts' 14-man squad for the one-off Twenty20. Batsmen Anamul Haque and Mominul Haque, who also debuted during this tour, have made the squad too.
The fourth among Bangladesh's debutants, Abul Hasan, who scored a century from No. 10 in the Khulna Test, is the only newcomer to miss out: he is yet to recover from the side strain he suffered in the second ODI in Khulna. The injured Shakib Al Hasan, who was advised six weeks rest due to a shin injury, expectedly wasn't picked.
Batsmen Mohammad Ashraful and Junaid Siddique, and allrounder Farhad Reza, who were part of the squad that played the World Twenty20, were not named in this squad.
This year, Bangladesh played their most Twenty20s, winning four out of eight games. The match against West Indies is set to be played in Mirpur on December 10.

I doubt it because Narine has greatly improved his form out of the ODI series. My heart says a win but it does not seem like a cake walk whether batting first or not.

Well we are playing the World Champions. Gayle will want to leave on a high after a way below average series for him. Pollard has already struck form. This is the format where Narine has been discovered. Not really too worried about it.... still see T20s as the least important format in cricket. Still wont harm to win obviously. Lets beat the champs In sha Allah

Good to see Abul Hasan not in t20 there, he has been hopelessly expensive whole year. Dont know why they got rid of Ash?! He been much better opener for t20!
This is actually an important game because it will give us an idea on what we will be like in World T20 come 2014 because the tournament will be held in Bangladesh. The recent one in Sri Lanka was of a big embarrassment for us.
