1-4 May 2003 - BAN vs SA - 2nd Test - Day 2
Just an hour remaining for the start of the game. I wish our team continue wt they started yesterday and put some good pressure. We shouldn't allow SA to stand up now after taking 6 wickets. I guess our bowlers specially rafique has learnt something from Paul Kuddus, lol .
Go BD go !!!!

I don't know if you guys read this but it was actually Rafique who suggested to the management to bring Chinaman Kuddus in to the nets.

SA for 330 all out!
Rafique adds two more to finish with the best figures for a Bangladeshi bowler in Test cricket. Ashraful got the other wicket! Good luck to our batsmen. Go Javed and Opee.

Play called off
The rains came after just three overs into the Bangladesh innings and play has been called off for the day. Bangladesh are 4 for no loss. The forecast for the next three days is pretty decent. Hopefully, our batsmen will make the SA bowlers toil all day in the sun tomorrow. First target though is to get 127 more to get to 131 to avoid the follow on!

NasifKhan, I couldn't agree with you any more. Reading the CI and Wisden reports, it seems as though Mr. Bowden is the only umpire out their, and there are constant references to his shenanigans.
Yes, if we can rack up 220 runs all out over 80+ overs on day 3, and slow the SA batting on day 4, we could be looking at a 5 day test with no additional heavenly intervention.

yes its true that billy bowden was given the status of best performance as an umpire in WC by ICC.. but after watching the 1st days play....its hard to believe that he is one of the best......
