Song to die for, can you dig it?
One of my all time favorites. World music. See if you can name the artist and title of the song.
Hint: A concurrent Bangladeshi artist shares the same first name as well as the name of the album. (Coincidence?)
Note: the song is digitally downgraded and / or distorted to discourage sharing. If you like the song, consider buying it.

Really a beautiful song... is he an african musician?
If you like world music I wonder if you know about algerian songwriter Souad Massi... she's very talented!

I'm glad you like her... I knew about her by chance and have become a great fan... I also saw her in concert in Rome twice! She has a pure voice and writes beautiful melodies... she's quite famous in France, as I know.
btw I suggest this site to any music fan:
http://rateyourmusic.com/
you can find a lot of stuff there!

Yes, you got it right, BanCricFan. Xavier was on the right track. Congratulations.
Artist: Habib Koite
Album: Ma Ya
Song: Mara Kuso
The artist is from Mali. This particular song is really brilliant, love it.
We have a Maya from a Habib too in Bangladesh

Its a nice melody but I find it quite depressing. But that has nothing to do with song which is nice. It's just not my genre perhaps.
