i was guessing the incident where sunny would have been out in the striking end. we were lucky that nasir went back to the striking end and sunny went back to the non-striking end.
I don't know what exactly happened but if he was supposed to be out then Darren Sammy must have made a sporting decision. Don't forget that that stupid umpire of Bangladesh whatever his name is gave Razzak out lbw when the ball clearly pitched outside the line.
It wasn't funny when it happened. It was very tense.[/QUOTE]
There are more things happened before. Someone wrote a book about those
funny incidents in cricket.
One thing I remember from that book (I forgot the name and time), once in a Test match, Umpire was so involved, that after a catch he shouted "How's that" and the bowler raised his finger.
Now from Bangladesh cricket history, Once Abahani's Babu (fans used to call him Kalicharran Babu) was selected for the national team to play against MCC (probably).
He was a left handed batsman, but he was so nervous that in the crease he was getting ready to bat like a right handed batsman. The batsman in the other end had to remind him.
I am not angry at Sunny. I appreciate his emotion, it happened because of his deep love for the team. It can happen to anybody?

if there is no iodine problem, people can act crazy in deep love... But not dumb....but people can act dumb at very early stage of love, infact most people act dumb at early stages of love....
This is actually called Acute iodine deficiency Syndrome (AIDS?) ... And if you fall in deep love in that condition, you are supposed to do, what Sunny did.....
It wasn't out. Winning run wasn't scored either. Sunny didn't go all the way to the crease. That idiot started celebrating in the middle of the pitch, thinking it was a four or something. Nasir thankfully went back, as in ran 2 runs all by himself and got back on strike. Sunny made his way back to the other side scoring a "half" run. He grounded his bat by the time the fielder broke the stumps.
That was the dumbest thing I have ever witnessed. Really, a school cricketer wouldn't have made that mistake. And I know we hear that a lot, but no really, this time it totally applies.

Don't know what was more dumb, the fact that he did not complete the run, or the fact while both were at the same end, it was nasir that decided to run back, if sunny ran back than it was a run and the match was won right there....

lol yeah. Nasir should've yelled at Sunny to go back. But I don't think he realized what was happening. I think he thought we had to score 2 runs, and thought WI was screaming for the ball because we were one run short? That could be the only possible explanation.
LOL funny how the WI fielders at the strike end was screaming for the ball. GIVE DE BALL BHAI! THROW IT, THROW IT TO DE BOLA END MAAN!

Nicely put for anyone who missed it.
Seriously though I've never seen anything so modon-ic ever in my life!

PS: Shouldn't that be a run out? I am surprised that it wasn't given a RO.
Why it should be given out??
Sunny and Nasir both were in the craese, doesn't matter if Sunny completed the run or not!
