Default about future captain of Bangladesh national cricket team

In my view, Habibul Bashar is ok as a captain for now. Bangladesh team need a captain who has got the talent, pace and fire but bangladesh team doesn't have any fast bowler. Mashrafee bin Murtaza is the quickest bowler of Bangladesh team and he has got the talent but his bowling speed is not fast enough. His highest bowling speed was 144 kmh but he can manage to bowl 140 kmh now. Bangladesh need a fast bawler who can bowl atleast 145 kmh. That bowler can lead Bangladesh team like great Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis or Kapil Dev.

i dont think it is necessary for captains to be fast bowlers. i think a batsman or an all rounder or even a wicket keeper can be a captain. and i dont understand the relationship with the speed of the bowl and being a captain. jaihok tobe ami mone kori rajin jodi tar dharabaikota bojai rakhte pare tahole kintu rajinke ami captain ar post a support korbo. dannabad.

Default U r wrong again

To be a captain as a wicket keeper it's a bit difiicult to watch all over the fielders and concentrate on his own keeping . It is better for a bowler to lead the team as a captain.

Default bowler captain

i agree with the bowler captain point. bowlers are less likely to go out of from because of captency. and though this is not always true, sometimes bowlers understand the rotation of bowlers better. see, there is only two main aspect of captency. creating an example by performing and accurate bowling change.

Default future captain

looks like we don't have any problem with the present captain, so we are thinking what will happen in the future. i'm more interested about present captain problem than future captain.

All sorts of players make competent captains. We've had top of the line allrounders like Imran Khan, Richard Hadlee, Tony Greig, Gary Sobers. Some of the most successful captains in recent history have been specialist batsmen: Mike Brearly, Nasser Hussain, Steve Waugh and Clive Lloyd. Captaincy needs to go to the one who can lead, not- to a specific position-player.

And with that half-baked assessment, reina brings up her triple century.. and the crowd goes wild!!!

now how on earth r bowlers the best captains?
thr r all sorts of successful captains in history!! bowlers, batsmen, allrounders...!!
perhaps its more oftenly happening in bd tht players lose form after getting captaincy(wheather he is a batsmen, bowler or allroudner)!!

Who knows what will happen!? I think we need a captain who will help his teammate perform in a consistent manner, who can inspire them and who can calm everybody down.

All rounder has an advantage. That is he can understand both aspect of the game.

Most of all, who has the ability to lead.

dannabad abaro shobaike,
hai kothata kintu thik captaincy is not for a specific position in the team. i mean that captains does not have to be bolers or batsman. they just need to have a certain skill. tobe hai all rounders might have a better advantage but not necessarily they will do good. dannabad.
