Default Selim is included in the squad

The wkt-keeper batsman Selim is included in the squad - janakantha report

He is the 16th person. Masri could get in too in place of Talha

Including Salim this way implies a chance that Pilot's position in the team is on threat.

We had only one guy consistent. Now they will make him feel threatened. It might take his form away.

My feeling: we don't need such an inform player in the side who can't perform when it is time to win, he can only save faces against strongest sides when the chance of a win is non-existent.

Default Pilot

Still, in a team of kid genuises (Ashraful), speed expresses (Masri) and players with infinite talent (Rokon) - he lights up. He is visible and he gives his 100%. He can't help it if his captaincy skills are .......

I would keep Pilot but Selim's performance over the last three years shows promise and since we have this chance to experiment, we can give Pilot a break or play both of them. Pilot's performance does qualify him as a specialst batsmen as the rest can't even hit a 20 average.

I like this particular experiment. Who knows...maybe relieving mashud of wkeeping stress may bring out better batting...

have selim as regular keeper. pilot drooped too many catches in this WC. however as pilot scored the most runs for us, so he can stay in the side as a specialist batsman.

I think Mashud is still the best keeper/batsman in BD. However, there is no problem with having Selim around, just to keep Pilot honest. I don't think Pilot needs to be relieved of keeping duties to make him a better batsman. He no longer has captaincy to worry about, so he should be able to concentrate on his game anyway.

Mashud scored 99 runs in the WC more that any Bangladeshi....just look at his scores 1,20,29,35*,14

Even if he's a hopeless keeper he is the best batsman therefore he should not be dropped

Perhaps Selih or whoever this guy is can keep and Mashud be moved up the order....just an idea

I am now being a critic of Pilot's batting: We will have to see how Pilot bats now since he is not the captain anymore.

Pilots career is under threat. Although he scored most runs for us, but he didnt score any 50 or took us to any win even against Canada.

We must try Selim as a keeper.

I think that both Pilot and Selim should be in the squad. Pilot as a batsmen and Selim as a keeper.

Selim is wk. Anwar is too young, Selim is a better keeper than Anwar. Selectors probably don't want to try Anwar until he is mature.
