Lack of Taposh
I missed Taposh's action in this match. If Taposh were part of this match, may be we wouldn't do as bad as this. Taposh proved himself essential for out national team. I think if he were to be playing in this match may be, only Allah knows, he would pick 2 wickets. What do u think?
I think Talha should be dropped from the test squad. He did not bowl well. Only Masri bowled well in the first day and Nazmul needs more practice. He gave a lot of runs. Rafique and Rana gave too many runs, without taking any wickets, and it was a mistake giving Aftab to bowl. Express your opinion plz.

haha...only the other day, people were clamouring to see Talha and Nazmul in action and not so sure about Tapash's long term future. How fickle-minded and short-sighted fans can be? I am quite glad Tapah was rested and we got to see where Talha and Nazmul are with respect to ability to bowl in a test match. We really needed to get the combination right by the time Zimbabwe tours us. This is as good a time as any. Besides we need to have patience. Talha is making a comeback after a long time. He used to be a pretty decent strike bowler (even though he could be expensive). Its too mucht to expect him to come and straight away hit the groove like Masri did. Not everyone get it going from the first ball. Best of luck to Talha today, who is probably still lucky to be playing test cricket considering he seriously injured his lower back.

Yes i was also glad that Talha and Nazmul played in this match. I wanted to see what they were like. They were quite expensive. But i am glad they played. They will mature and turn into great bowlers in the future.

Mashrafee also took some time to get back. Remember that he took 1 wicket in reality and a couple more if any catch had not been dropped off his bowling. However, the Dhaka wicket was pretty pace-bowling friendly, than the Chittagong wicket. You have to take this into consideration, too.

i think its a proper decision to give Tapash a rest. He's been going on like Rafique, non-stop since god-knows-when! We have an important one-day series and a series against Zim coming up- we need to muster him fully and get more players to choose from!
