Dhaka's game to lose from this point on

Nadif Chowdhury start brilliantly, 3 sixes in a row. Then the typical BD local domestic player.. Went for one too many, when it was not needed. Should’ve taken a single, move on the next over. How typical he got out like that. There comes a time coaches and captain should signal, “no” don’t play big hit, play safely, over is good already.

Gayle has been pathetic whole tournament.
Still a good RR, by Riders. Let’s see what the rest can do.
The way Gayle and Rossow got out. Unlike them...
I smell something...

Bopara and Mithun at crease - doppelganger of each other.

Afterall its involving DD, big game, big stakes.. most like something behind to get them into the finals. But I doubt they can topple Lotus’s side CV with anything off cricket.

More than AB. Hales is missed. We know AB will be coming for short time only. Hales was in excellent form.

The timing is awful, the match goes most part when I get up, get ready, send my son to school, drive and commute to work, settle down and attend meetings mostly

ABD gone back. Hales got injured. So basically without both they wouldn’t have finished top 4.

Riders look so weak without AB and Hales. Gayle has not fired at all this bpl. Riders bowling has no international quality. They were heavily dependent on foreign batsmen.
I’d rather for the sake of BPL. Two best squads play, right now CV and DD. As RR minus two class players.
FFS. Least make 170 in the FINAL. Whoever bats.

140 odd was never enough. Riders needed least 170-180 to make a good match. Always said their bowling looks weak despite shaf and mash doing well. When your top 4 heavy batsmen scores big runs, and the opponent has to chase big runs, obviously will lose wickets hitting out hence you pick up wickets because of scoreboard pressure. Now that the two big guns gone out riders turned back to where they were before AB and Hales came.
Gayle has been so disappointing. Riders needed on big innings, with great SR from Gayle. He did not deliver.

Congrats to Dhakaites. Yet another final for DD.
But I’ve said it all along. CV has the best squad, team. Man for man, in whole from international to deshi. Theres allrounders, Int quality pacers, spinners, class T20 batsman. Deshi bunch best of the lot..
It should be a cracker. Hope all CV’s big guns fire, likes of Lewis, Tamim, Samsur, Afridi, Thisara. And DD’s Shakib, Russell, Pollard, and if Narine comes off.

Only 16 posts for a playoff BPL game?
And plus it's not a stickied thread...

SS containing
Nasir, with his FoHawk Fade hairstyle and chin strap beard, despite being a shaky batsman
Sabbir, with his cats eyes and "other" reputation among women, despite being a child beater
Taskin, with his fair-n-lovely colour tone, killer smile and height, despite being ousted from national team before
surely deserves all the "bhalobasha" of the Sylhoti lolonas (is it 'phuri'?)

Why do lolona and cup have to be mutually exclusive? Grapes are sour indeed.
