Wa alaikum wa salaam.
I think Mushfique tries his best and that there is no one better to replace him. So his performance is nothing to write home about.

seriously, deshe ekta motamuti quality er ekta wicketkeeper o nai? i think mushfique needs to practice his catching and specially how to BAT! ei rokom batting bradman er jomanai cholto, ekhon ekdom chole na. test eo to bhalo kore nai. doler kono batsman ke keeper rakhleo onek labh, at least arekta batsman extra pawa jabe. bd seriously misses pilot ki bolen apnara?

You have to make up ur mind that he is going to miss catches in every match.

Everyone knows that but the thing is that Mushfiq is our only experinced wicket keeper-batsmen in the team.

Though his wicket-keeping is below-standard, he's quite a good batsman, definitely one of the better in the team. I think people are forgetting his form in the New Zealand series. Seems afraid of fast-bowling though. No one's even close to replacing him in the domestic league so there's no point in looking for replacements.

wk position is the most difficult one. its not like a bastman or a bowler who relies only on himself. those his performence is not that good but he is our best prospect. he was the captain of the u19 team and he has the best technic. he just played a good innings against NZ (to me we won cause he was sent in 3 instead of ash that day)... Anyway to answer your question he is the best we got at this moment and we have to train him more... BTW he is from bogura(BNP) so logic says he shouldn't be liked by selectors (as all of them like AL)...

no doubt his keeping at the moment below international standard.specially keeper up position he is the worse keeper I ever seen.in my opinion I should stick with him.He is highly talented batsman and has cool head above his shoulder.

no doubt he's not up to standard, but then again how many in the team are up to standard? he doesn't have any challengers for his position so BD is stuck with him atm. just have to wait for prospects like mithun ali to come into their own, but by then rahim could have made himself into a decent keeper batsman.

Give him sometime to settle down; he will make a better keeper. If we keep changing wicket keeper, won't do any good for the team.

Mushfiq is/was a very promising prospect (from batting perspective) for Bangladesh. He has very good temperament, a mixture of defence and aggression. Unfortunately, he was broght on the national team before he was ready. Pilot was dropped without any performance-related reason. And this kid has always been extremely under pressure, though he got and is getting his run from the selectors.
National team is not the place where you are allowed to do mistakes after mistakes and learn in that way. Eventually his inability costed his place to Dhiman. Dhiman's departure gave him again a temporary chance; but if he continues failing, he will be eventually replaced (by Shaghir or someone else).
I feel sorry for Rahim. The selectors are wasting another talented player.

I think all dialects are unique and have their own qualities.
But, I am glad it's made you laugh as there seems to be too many people in the world walking around with a chip on their shoulder.

Pilot is not in his peak anymore, so he will be dropping catches and contribute little with the bat. The solution is not a revolving door.
On mushy's batting, he has being moved around a lot in terms of batting position.
