But good luck to the kids.

Prothom Alo said there will be changes in the team, Kamrul Islam and Shamsur Rahman will be rested, and Ishraq Sonnet and Rezaul Islam will be tried in their places.

It's interesting that the ICC U-19 WC site is providing live commentary for the 2nd and 3rd BD matches, after forgoing the first 1st BD-NZ match in favor of what appeared to be less important concurrent matches. Could this have something to do with the flood of email messages sent by the Bangla Army from BC?

Certainly, we should bat first and try to smoke Uganda.

Actually the live commentary was pre-planned.

BD should bat first. They need to get some batting confidence in them.

How about we start talking about the prospective Quarterfinal opponent? By the look of it, looks like its either gonna be England or Zimbabwe!

Loser of this game ::
Group D: England v Zimbabwe (D1 v D2)

Which one of those we should prefer? any thoughts guys?

If I were you, I would hope for a half century from him not a full one, due to his recent performance in the U-19 world cup.

I suspect it will be a dominating but not completely one sided game the way people are expecting.

Any team ffrom Zim and Eng could be our opponent in QF. Doesn't matter who it is. We've beaten them both recently. But the last one with Zim was quite a close one. Nevertheless, focus should be on game not the opponent. That means,

1) no wides/no-balls and
2) longer stay for the top order.

A century for Tamim? Won't be a good thing, because he will then run the risk of being tagged as a minnow bully

I need to catch up some sleep. Still will watch this match may be first 10 over. BD U-19 should win this match with a big margin.

Good going U-19.

well we could rest some of the guys and play a bunch of reserves just to try new things out. i mean there's no way we're not qualifying to the next round anymore, and i don't believe the A team, having raped the pommies, will lose to the Ugandans.

BD definitely need some good batting practice, otherwise tough time are ahead, the worse could be NO SEMI for us!

So get back to work boys!

Kaal Sararath chokhe Ghum Chilo-na, kintu Sukh Chilo :-)

Hoping for another memorable night. Great to be part of the 'banglacricket' crowd.

After Saqib got run out, I had a panic attack. I did not feel like updating the ICC link. It was veeerrryyy sslllooooowwwww anyway. It was such an eerie feeling when the link stopped updating……….it was like another batsman gone.

Anyway, excellent play by the Junior Tigers!
Kudos to Skipper for keeping his cool and took us to victory.

My only concern is that we had given too many extras. Dollar must improve on no-ball and wide deliveries.

Go BD

heh heh , well said Rafiq.

But frankly speaking, this is the first time that there is a sense of confidence among the FANS that this Junior Tigers will carry the torch all the way.

Looking back, I see many occassions (for the Senior Team) where we were in full control and then only seen the whole team collapsed miserably without much explanation.
