This promises to be the most tightly contested EC in history. Spain, Germany and Holland look to be the early favorites. Italy always plays well in tournaments, and you never know just when the French will gel, so they're in also. You cannot count out perennial dark horses Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Croatia, Czech Republic and Russia. I expect Poland and Ukraine to surprise many at home, especially Poland. Always overrated to the max, England will fail once again. Ireland will come close to an upset because of their indomitable spirit, and Greece will lose every match. I wish Turkey and Serbia were here instead of the last two I've just mentioned.

No one has defended their title, Can we have a new winner?

The last Euros were excellent and i hope we see something like that this time round:
Somehow feel Spain will finally fall short against germany if they meet.
The English may do well given that for once, even their own media doesnt believe in them: and it didnt help to have a farcical squad selection where a 2nd choice rb from liverpool was preferred over Rio F
-England to qualify 2nd from their group and then get beat in the next round.
-Cheating Italians to do well...the last time they had a scandal, they won the WC, so with the current match fixing scandal(they sent home 2 players)...they'll do well again.
- So long as Spain don't win...I have no complaints.
