that lonely after-series feeling
Guys, it's been such an awsum, eventful tour of England for our boys. I'm sure many of you will agree that we feel like we've just been through a roller-coaster that's suddenly come to an abrubt ending, what with the awful start to tour and then the shocker against the aussies and pulling off some decent performances with a nice one to finish it off today. But now maybe you're feeling like me. Feeling that lonely feeling.....no more Bangladeshi cricket for the next two months. Of course, the boys deserve a break after such a gruelling tour, but I just wanted to share this wierd feeling on this forum, coz I know many of you probably feel the same way......it just feels a bit better knowing that.
I salute the Bangaldesh Tigers. (i wish there was a saluting emoticon here!)

Well done boys! It was nice to see Sharier Nafees driving and pulling!Just amazing! This lad has bright future!Has some problems with the out going balls just out side the off stump!! He reminds me of Salman Butt of Pakistan! And we need a new captain!Bashar never learns from all those mistakes!

Already the end Can't believe it all went this quickly.. Will so miss BD cricket.
A great tour though. We BEAT Australia and had a great last game against them too. A very successful tour. We showed the world what we're capable of.

The most important gain from this tour--confidence. I think from now on you'll see a different team. In subcontinental conditions our bowlers are quite adequete. So I think we'll more wins consistantly.
And yes.......that feeling of a motherless child creeping back. But hey...life goes on.

You know, just before a year I used to folloow matches of other countries, specially the countries of our subcontinent and their players. But since the Indian tour of BD, since our tigers showed fighting spirit and capability; I don't enjoy any cricket where our tigers are not involved. Even the Ind-Pak clash is PANSHE to me. I don't get any taste. To me, there's no cricket in the world until Tiger-SL clash.

I don't know about no one else but i could tell you about me, I feel absolutely the same way you do!! While BD plays I feel like there's something going on, and i really feel different than usual. I take prep for watching the game, since I'm not it BD, if there's nothing else to depend on I rely on Cricinfo.com
well played ODI, wish to see a win in Srilanka Tour.

same to me as well, i don't enjoy any cricket where Tigers are not present. not at all, and this has been for long time, even in the miserable days of BD, 2/3 years back.

Today, the day after the aus vs bd match, I watched the bd vs zim 5th ODI where we smashed em good while listening to the dhoom song. It was nice. I'm still suffering from that lonely after-series feeling. But there are signs of recovery.
PS: Ashraful should really shut his mouth. "I am mature now." That's still bull! What about the last two innings!
