Good Idea actually, for the English batsmen, they can average about 100 each against Bangladesh, and bump up their aves, before McGrath and co arrive, that way, after the Ashes, the English players will all have the same the personal stats they did before the summer...****

A bit exaggerated, but did not Indian and NZ batsmen improve their average against BD as did BD against Zimbabwe? English batsmen have scored runs heavily against the West Indian, NZ and Soth Africanattacks in recent past. Why cannot they score heavily against BD as well.

First of all it won't be that easy this time , it might be rainning in Lord's then we have a draw . Ya can't say nothing in a test match . Like India lost to Pakistan in the last test and then on Pakistan have drawn the first test . It all happens in test cricket . It won't be easy to get avg better for english batsmen this time . The tension is growing up ... if Bangladesh batting first and gets something 500 + in the first innings then it's bad luck for English players . They have to work hard to save the match as the history says ........... Good Luck England .

It is not England vs Australia that we are talking about, but about England vs BD.

dont know how come u expect BD 2 score 500+ in ENG? i agree we sud b optimistic. doesnt necessarily mean we start this kinda dreaming. we all want BD to win -no doubt. But , we havnt reach that stage yet. remember? wat we did wen BD visit ENG last time. I am expecting the players to demonstrate some good effort as a team, hope it will earn us some pride.

Sometimes support of the team works .Why not this time too ? Looks like noone wants to win , yeah we know we can't beat them but we can get our individual score better than before . Any of our batsmen having hundred in England that would be maiden century mind it . Ashraful and Nafis Iqbal already said that in cricinfo interview as well as Ashraful wants the avg about 40 marks in both test and odi . Infact Habibul batting good against "South Africa " a not out innings he is capable to make a hundred too . Then we are on the bus it's already a big score . Cricket is a big time funny game anyone can win . As we never thaught we can beat India and Pakistan and also we made great recovery from 2-0 series to grab the series . Those history says : The day is far way we are coming up . Would that be the next tour ? Who knows ?
