They can decide to Tour Bangladesh hence get more practice in our conditions. I know the tour is supposed to be held in South Africa, but they can reverse the location, this will give them good opportunity to prepare well for T20 world cup. both BCB and South Africa can agree to half the income recieved from the tour if it happens in Bangladesh. also remember Pakistan is Free and hence, we might even try to look at the possibility of playing Pakistan! less hopeful but possible depends on both Boards

Sweet.
SA, Bang & Zim are free in Nov. Why not a tri-nations ODI tournament ? Since SA is in UAE, they can be invited to Bangladesh. We can offer a return series in the future.

If they are free i'm sure it would be easier for them to play Zimbabwe!!..after the confidence boost this recent series vs NZ has created in BD cricket it would be unwise to go to SA now and get smashed imo!!..you're better off taking one step at a time.

Excellent idea. Match against SA will really help us and will help SA even more in preparing for T20 WC

Matches are what we need. So yes. Writing to BCB might not be enough, we need to call those guys and ask for this to happen. Why are people so adamant about SA not wanting to tour us? How do y'all know? Seems like you are all directors yourselves in the CSA.

Thank you Roey and Crisis for agreeing that more matches are needed. It is really ridiculous that we play so few games.
Most fans think players will improve doing ads and sitting at home but that will never happen. Continuous practice against top opposition is required.

Seriously? Most fans? Show me one fan who advocates that. Don't use stupid logic to advocate a view with which 100% of the members are totally ignored. No need to be adversarial when you don't have to. You are preaching to the choir.

I can assure you nobody thinks like that
The current FTP is the way it is because that is how the top boards want it to be. If the top cricketing nations refuse to play lower ranked teams and only want to play each other, then there is very little we can do. The only option for us is to beat teams ranked closer to us like NZ and West Indies and start producing good results in major ICC tournaments. Only then the top boards will find us viable to tour them.
Having said that... I agree with Naimul that we could network for a tri series as a replacement to a bilateral series/ODI tournaments happening elsewhere

I vote to front up there anyway, and volunteer to play anyone anywhere.
Go tour the country in a bus. Sleep in tents. Try your hand at rugby with the boers, kick a soccer ball around in the townships.
Make it clear you'll play anyone, anywhere.
Unless South Africa are scared, of course.

BCB is not sleeping dogs all day. Like I said
They don't have a magical wand that will make everything happen in a blink of an eye. As pathetic as BCB might be they are 10 times more professional when you compare to other sport organizations in the country.
Be patient, and hope that the series against Zimbabwe take place without delay

Hopeless initiative. South Africa world's no 1 side is free and looking for matches and we go for Zimbabwe.
Typical BCB messes up again.

Amazing that you don't let facts get in the way of the axe you grind.
I guess you've not been following your own thread. Read #5 that King13 posted. The tour is back on. This thread is now done and dusted. Time to move on to the one discussing the probable series with Zimbabwe.
Seriously, move on.

Yes we lost a game in India where our coaches sabotaged our chances by playing the wrong team and only picking five batsmen so a crap captain can keep his place!!!..i'm sure BD would have done much better no doubt!! .

Yes no doubt. Even afganishtan could've done better than what your team managed in kolkata. Your team played really shite cricket, just accept it. There's aboslutely no excuse which can justify losing a test inside 3 days and that too by a huge margin.
Your arrogne reminfds me about a certain pakistrani fans. Too stubborn and just oblivious from reality.

Excuses? Roach left on the bench and Rampaul and Narine left at home...
In the batting department Kirk Edwards averages over 60 against India!!..left on the bench so Sammy can play!!..that's not "excuses" thats FACTS!!..
Btw England were also thrashed in their first game against India last year aswell!!..and why? because they played the wrong team too!!.
