Cricket match news - NOT BD v Namibia
Just came back from an Indoor match against Asia Vs Africa. Played in our very own Uni Sportshalle... 8 a side match...
Asia (BD, India, Nepal and Pakistan)
Africa (Zambia, Nigeria, Kenya, zimbabwe and maybe one - more not sure)
Asia won the toss went into bat first scored 73 in alloted 8 overs... I went into bat at the last ball in the non striker's end...
Africa was bowled out for 20 odd runs in 3.4 overs... my bowling... 1 over, 0 run, 2 wickets...
over analysis:
1 - 0
2 - 0
3 - dropped edge
4 - bowled
5 - bowled
6 - yorker blocked and they ran and got run out
They were all out before I cud come on to ball my alloted second over
Then we played a India Vs rest of world (fancy name ) (BD, nepal and Pakistan, Nigeria). 6 a side 5 overs match... india bowled out in 3 overs for 19 runs... I again got 2 wkt... for 5 run... This stupid bugger hit me for a four.... :P
Then rest of asia got into trouble but me and this nepali guy so the team through with 2 overs to spare... We had 2 run out in the first over... :duh:
I am not sure if I am supposed to post it in this forum but I am bangladeshi and I was in the team... so it was bangaladesh cricket

what this may tell is the folllowing:
1. the africans and indians teams in your university are horrible
2. someone tampered with the ball
3. you should be in namibia bowlling for bangladesh

no the indian team isnt horrible... the africans were... they are still getting used to the game... The indian team is actually pretty good... and no I am not that good a bowler... we are kind of short on bowlers in the uni... otherwise I never wud have made the opening bowler position... and the ball was NOT tampered with....

Gratuliere, sami! You said "Sportshalle". Does it mean the match was played in indoor hall?

Sorry, did not give a close look at that part of your message. May be I was too much in my trances with our two successive wins against Namibia?
Anyway, what kind of ball do you bowl?

yeah man... it was the ''chade laglay out'' kind of cricket... lol
we use a certain kind of ball which is lighter than the usual cricket balls... I never saw anything like them before I came to germany... they are used for indoor cricket... Actually I wasnt familiar with indoor cricket before coming to germany... Its pretty cool... but nothing beats Cricket played the way its supposed to be played...
but normal cricket is played... There is a northern german cricket league that invited our University team to join the league... we played some friendlies but still havent joined the league...
Navarene: I am a medium fast bowler...

Oh man! I am spending my Eid by reading about the new sensation of some uni at Bremen? I have to get a life! Let's change this web address to BanglaNazicricket.com.... Banglacricket is too general.
Anyways, I came for the BD score...very dissapointed
p.s. Cart and rafiq - that was too funny!
Sami, I hope I didn't cross the borderline. If I did, put 4 more by my name. Closer to a century baby!!
