It is his old 'back pain' problem. The physio has put him on 'ice therapy' and did not elaborate on the seriousness. He will be in complete rest for the next three days.

Just saw it on NTV scrolling headlines - Taposh is going to SL to stand-in for Mashrafe.
Sounded serious enough.

I can smell the No Balls already. Hopefully Mashrafe can be ready for the first ODI.

He should be atleast rested for the first ODI. We should not take a chance.

I'd rather have Mashrafe give me 1/33(3..33 an Over) than Than Tapash give me 3/75 with 10 NB.
When tapash is on he's really good, but i don't think he can do a 4/16 in the near future like he did vs W.Indies.

like it or not tapash is the next best bowler... and until recently he was the best in bd. this goes to show how much we are dependent on one particular bowler

According to Prothom Alo, Masri got the back pain from practice in the Asia team.
It did not give us anything and took so much! Bummer.

Asia XI became nightmare instead of a dream ...sad but Masree could have restricted atleast 30 valuable runs!!! which is lot to us. I guess Tapash and Syed Russel gota take care of his business.
What's wrong with our bowling, they bowled so bad and batting is as usual our top order shines on the other hand middle flops..or vice versa...when this will end?
