Can't say I am happy to see Nannu being the head coach of the U/19 team. Is Fahim retiring ? Where is Wahidul Gani ?

My guess - Lefthanded Leg Spinner, i.e. chinaman bowler.

If I got it right, the squad got two specialist legspinners - Noor Hossain and Islamul Ahsan. It also got two chinaman - Tajul Islam and Shaker Ahmed.

I really would love to see U-21 and U-23 camps and teams. Australia maintains such teams.

Yes. And he is our JS (The best batsmen who never played TEST... lol). he was our best batsmen before ICC...
I think to be a ntl level coach you have to have certificates. Wahidul gani doesn't have one... he is old school. don't whats with the other one...

Thank's Eshen bhai.
I hope your guess is correct. We really need some leg spinners.

Just noticed in TigerCricket that this team will be touring SA this Dec-Jan. The tour consists of two 4-day matches and five 1-days.
http://tigercricket.com/pdf/calendar07-08.pdf
Some of the players from this bunch (Mominul Haque, Saikat Ali, Al Hamim) have taken part in ongoing NCL, but have not done too well so far.

^^^Seriously?
Rubel Hossain, Mahmudul Hasan, Taposh Ghosh, Amit Majumdar, Rony Talukdar, Mithun Ali, Nasir Hossain, Nadimuddin, Golam Kibria are all ex U-19 players who are still aged 19 years and younger so why aren't they being considered? We need to give them as much foreign exposure as possible or is it that the new bunch is so good that they can displace ALL the experienced campaigners from the team.
My current U-19 team would be:
Amit Majumdar
Rony Talukdar
Nadimuddin
Nasir Hossain
Mahmudul Hasan (Captain)
Ashraful Hossain
Mithun Ali (Wicket-Keeper)
Taposh Ghosh (Vice-Captain)
Rubel Hossain
Golam Kibria
???
Ashiqul Islam, Mohammad Shakil, ???, ???
There's no point sending a fresh team to SA.

Rubel, Rony, Mithun, etc will be over-aged for 2010 U/19 WC. Players from the last U/19 bunch who should be eligible to play in the next WC are - Nasir, Mahmudul, Amit, Saikat, Taposh, and Shakil, unless they are age cheaters.
I think the players from last bunch are not yet getting involved at this stage because they have been already through all those preliminary trainings. I do hope they will be in the team before the SA tour.
I think the next U/19 team will look like something like this -
Amit Majumdar
Saikat Ali
Imamul Muttakim
Nasir Hossain
Mahmudul Hasan
Mominul Haque
Taposh Ghosh
?
?

Hahaha...that's a hilarious reaction - do you also have a similar name to the former Iraqi President?
