Default SHAHID, YOU DID THE BEST THING

Shahid, You did the best thing since you started coming to this board.

You discovered ACC's (Asian Cricket Council) website.

I am impressed. Keep it up.

Default Can anyone tell me why ???

Can anyone tell me why has Bangladesh flag been shown first in the ACC website. Indian flag should always be first. I think the flags should be listed in order of the teams strengths. Bangladesh flag should be shown 4th.

I think a Bangladeshi created that homepage. That's why the flags are that way.

Besides, the current 2 vital positions of ACC is now occupied by 2 Bangladeshis i.e., ACC president Mr. Ali Asgar Lobi and ACC Chief Executive Mr. Syed Ashraful Haque.

But hey, any sign of Bangladesh does not even exist in some Indian websites. (Proof: www.cricketnext.com did not even have Khaled Mashud's picture on their home page during the last world cup whereas all the other 10 One Day Team captains had their pictures. So, why this mentality when there is some signal of Bangladesh that is in the first position?

fwullah, thanks. I did discover ACC website by mistake. I initially wanted to know something about Nepali Cricket. I found one nepali cricket site using a search engine Google. I saw a link to the ACC website on that nepali cricket site.

That's the way to go. We always find something great by mistake while we are searching for something else.

I don't think even Cricinfo has a link to the ACC site yet.

Cricinfo does have links to ICC and ECC (European cricket council) websites. I don't know why don't they have the link for ACC website.

Bangladesh is listed first coz its in alphabetical order. Look at the cricinfo site. You will see alphabetical listing of each test nation.

Thats the standard.

Actually the ACC site is "Designed and maintained by directhere.com" which is a malaysian company.

The first four test nations were flaged according to the alphabetical order and the rest I guess is flaged randomly.

Bangladesh's flag is first as it is in Alphabetical order. About test playing nations, BD is listed 2nd in the list. If you see world cup 2003 guides, you would find BD listed 2nd there.

Also, a Bangladeshi is the ACC president.
