Dont think we can do anything after a 36 hour break

Shakib 100
Tamim 100
England at least 350

We should still win the series provided we correct these mistakes. Almost chasing that score should do them a load of good then harm. If that Moss guy is not dropped then the series is lost. Batting was good, but what I dislike is how they give away their wickets especially Mushfiqur Rahim.

South Africa demolished us in the first ODI and we came back strong, still hopeful. Don't think we should prepare flat pitches as we don't have the long line-up to capitalize on it like England does.

Even if we correct our mistakes, we have to accept that England are a better side and Bangladesh are going to be mentally down.
Losses like that of today really brings the teams morale to the ground. If we had won today, it would have given us massive confidence. It would have done good to our record, our ranking points.
I am usually an optimist but its hard to expect us to win day after tomorrow after today. Not only are we up against a better side but also the mental factor.

Should we bat first or bowl first, today MAsh mentioned about the T20WC loss against India, looks like we are narbhas chasers, so should we bat first ? but then there is dew.
One thing for sure this wicket has runs on it and Eng bowling looks average.

One change: Nasir instead of Mosharraf vs the lefties and to add batting depth.
Play the in-form Shakib at 5, Mushy at 6. Other than that, leave the batting order alone. Too much reshuffling in these two series.
Too much uncertainty and experimentation in general. A lot of the experimentation was forced due to injuries, but this constant reshuffling needs to stop. Promoting Sabbir to 3 was the only one that made sense.

Taking back Nasir being a spin solution. He was ineffective in the practice match. But he can add to our batting.
Guess we'll have to rely on Mosaddek, who has done OK with the ball, and hope none of the pacers will have an off day.

This is my playing XI for 2nd ODI which might be played on comparatively slower pitch:
01) Tamim (Auto choice but he needs to pace his innings well)
02) KaEdge (In-form player but would not score another big one this match 'cause of law of average)
03) Sabbir (He needs to adjust mental aspect of the game; run-a-ball 50 would do would of good to us)
04) Mushfiq (should be warned for playing slog sweep, Riyad needs to finish it off for us at #6)
05) Sakib (Iceman)
06) Riyad (He will play as finisher)
07) Mosaddek ( Deserve the entire England series )
08) Nasir ( he can bowl more than 3 overs and prevent late order batting collapse)
09) Mashrafe (not much complaint about him)
10) al-Amin ( mainly for death over bowling)
11) Taskin ( so much promise, but so little output )
12th Man: Soumya (for his fielding)

Tamim
Kayes
Mushfiq
Sabbir
Shakib
Riad
Mosaddek
Nasir
Mashrafe
Al Amin
Taskin
If it were upto me, I would have asked to pick someone like Shaifuddin or Muktar ali to be slotted in at no. 9

Woke up this morning and thought to myself. Bangladesh needs Sarkar in the side, blazing teams away at the top, just like how he blazed Pakistan, and South Africa apart, in particular.
Bangladesh needs to have Soumya Sarkar in the side, he has an x-factor. Am sure he will be feeling the pain, the pain of seeing such loss from a position which no one would think you can lose from. Hopefully this will be motivation, for him and Nasir and others, to take revenge next game.
Now, for my XI, this game. If I'm going to have Nasir back in my starting 11, I see a solution to how to bring Soumya back in the 11. Sorry, but, this seems right to me, I'd drop Mossadek, yes. It's nothing against Mossas last two poor batting performances; I feel theres a better batting balance playing this 11 ( which I'm going to show you down below).
Mossadekh has been decent spinner, scored a good knock, but if Nasir comes in for MH Rubel, I don't think we need another spinner in Mossadek. So Soumya comes back in place of Mossadek, for me.
Shafiul might have impressed others, early on. He impressed me too (early on) but he should never should bowl beyond 44 overs. Remember once in 2010 Shafiul couldn't not defend 14 against England? He is poor death overs bowler. At the death only Taskin, Shakib should bowl and Al Amin. So I'm bringing, since the death overs wernt good, I think we need Al Amin, just purely for end overs bowling. Mash and Taskin can do most part of the early overs.
Here is my 11:
Tamim
Kayes
Sarkar
Sabbir
Mushy
Shakib
Mahmudullah
Nasir
Mash
AlAmin
Taskin
We need, deep experienced batting. And good options for different periods of the game with the ball. Al Amin adds more with variations and death overs bowling option. Shafiul looked lost when he bowled his last two.
In conclusion.
I think Bangladesh can still recover, if they believe and play to their potential, if they field well ans hold onto the catches because BD bowling will always create chances; just need to field and have better common sense in our batting.
Here's hoping we get them back. Go Tigers!

100% agreed with the team AND batting order. Hopefully they go with the strongest 11.

Mushy is not good enough to play number four.
