You don't know the future.. Do you??? Why fight now on the basis of what will happen in future??? That's childish..
As you said it was not in our blood to have one of the best AR in our team .. soo even 10 years back we never thought we'll get a player like Shakib who will consistently give competition to players like Kallis or Watson... Did we??? But the truth is he did take down Kallis for few months that's a achievement for a Bangladeshi and of course we will be proud for that.. Not a single AR in the world could do that for so many years.. So Shakib is a special talent... Let's see how far he can go..
He has played only 25 test matches and look how many wickets he took already... Don't forget Shakib's strength is his bowling whereas Kallis's strength is his batting so I don't expect Shakib to break Kallis's record in batting.. I bwould just be happy if he improves with each passing game and be one of the best AR of all time by the end of his career.. Why are you so obsessed with Kallis.. Forget Kallis.. Let Kallis be where he is and let Shakib create his own identity.. Kallis went out of form so many times that's when he lost his position to Shakib.. So Shakib might go out of form too.. that's part of the game.. Don't be over critical of them.. A good player will always bounce back just have faith in them..
