You still can. All mention worthy leagues run over 20 games on avg per regular season night simultaneously. I'm sure IPL can run 3-4 games at once. It's all about keeping it fast paced.

It is to accommodate those who want to watch all matches. For people who work 2 matches over weekend and 1 match in weekdays is all we can watch.
Why are you angry? they are not compelling you to watch all the matches, do they?
