Default The blues brothers

With Pakistan off, a treble was avoided. India and Sri Lanka are doing pretty bad. For starters, India is battling at 90-odd for 8 in the test match. Earlier Pakistan had already lost to South Africa 4-1 in the series. Bangladesh (had to add us) lost to West Indies 2-0, could have been 2-1 (YEAH, RIGHT) if rain hadn't intervened in the series opener.

Sri Lanka lost to ENGLAND, giving England only their second win (both against Sri Lanka) in their month and half-long stay in Australia. SL lost by 95 runs after going all out for 163 against England's 258 for 9. Guess we know who is playing the World Cup Semis (still two months away and they still have a few matches to get in touch with the faster tracks overseas) for sure:

South Africa (hosts)
Australia
New Zealand .... and
England / West Indies? (haha funny)

As I said, our neighbors still have a month to figure out how to cope with them fasties. Let's hope atleast 2 of them get their acts together by then. My money is on pakistan and Sri Lanka as the Indians have to play in their specially cuarated home pitches to win. Then again, the batting talent they have is amazing. If the Indians were mentally as strong as the Aussies, they could have done a whole lot of damage. Give 'em our shrink.
