It is not a stupid tactics. You will see the best teams have a LR opening combo - SA, Aus, India all do. 2 lefties righties I dont mind but too often we have 3 lefties in the top order and that makes it easy for opposition. Rememer what Lyon did to us?
But frankly speaking, i think Mushy should bat at no.3 He is hands down our best batsman both temparementally and technically. Mini can then bat as an opener while Shakib can come at 4/5
