It begins with Chris Gayle one of the most destructive batsmen the game has seen, not only can he take the game away from the oppostion but he can do it regularly and it's not just his destructive batting that can intimidate his opposition, he is also a rather physically imposing fellow. Chris Gayle is accompanied by T M Dilshan another aggressive batsman, he has great timing and is known for his infamous "dilscoop" shot, his best batting comes when he opens the innings, he is one of the most destructive and exciting modern day openers. the player who gets to follow after the agressive destructive play of gayle and dilshan is Virat Kohli still very young but has proven himself to be a consistently quality ODI performer, like the others above him he is an aggressive player, one of the most dependable you can find and he is perfect for the #3 slot as he can play defensively if needed but also possess a wide array of strokes all around the ground, he adapts and adjusts as needed he can be patient or aggressive, he plays the innings that is required and does it well.

the middle order is made-up of AB deVillers, Kevin Pietersen and M S Dhoni. AB deVilliers is a player who has it all, perfect temperament for all situations, he is perfectly balanced mentally and physically, terrific footwork not only allows him to play well against pace bowlers but also against the spinners. next comes the rather outspoken kevin pietersen but his brash personality off the field also translate to his personality on field and this brashness makes him an aggressive, exciting and destructive batsman, what makes pietersen different to most batsmen is that he backs it up with consistent performance. for the #6 position there is M S Dhoni one of the best finishers the game has ever seen, never unnerved when it comes to chasing a target he makes it look easy even when it looks to be impossibly hard.

to follow is Shakib Al Hasan the best ODI spin allrounder of current if not ever. dangerous with both bat and ball, he can change a match with either suit and soaks up pressure like a sponge. next in is Brad Hogg one of the best ODI chinaman bowlers we've seen, he started out FC cricket as a batsman but soon found out that he had a knack for chinaman bowling, not just that he has a great flipper and wrong'un that is tough to pick. the left arm bowling of shakib and hogg make this spin attack to be something most batsmen wouldn't be used to, how often does a quality SLA bowl in tandem with a quality chinaman? the adjustment and getting use to by batsmen of this more unique attack is an added bonus to the quality bowling of both shakib al hasan and brad hogg.

now, the fast men. Andy Roberts opens, he has pace, moves the ball and 2 variations of the bouncer, the batsmen just don't know which one is coming, he is economical and takes wickets at an average of 20.35. the names Bond, Shane Bond....Shane Bond is the other opener, described as fast and fearsome he's one of the quickest modern era bowlers, he swung the ball late at great pace and had a terrific yorker. shane bond also had a knack for taking 4fers and 5fers making him a great match winning bowler with an average of 20.88. Patrick Pattrerson is the third fast bowler to this quality attack. Known for his pace and also known for his nasty bowling. batsmen feared patterson, he was physically imposing and that was replicated in his bowling style, he was also good at taking wickets.

gayle and dilshan are capable enough spinners if a little back-up is asked of, gayle having taken over 150 ODI wickets and dilshan having taken close to 70, gives the bowling attack a little more depth.

12th man goes to Andre Russell an aggressive destructive allrounder, batting average over 30 (currently over 35) with a strike rate comfortably over 100 (120+) and a bowling average under 30 (currently 27) and a strike rate of 30. clearly a match winner with both bat and ball not only can he make big scores with a terrific strike rate but he can take hauls of wickets to.

fielding: the fielding of dilshan, AB, shakib and hogg should certainly save some runs.
