Who says it is mighty and holy Ganges
That comes across and loses her forces
In the gorgeous and coy silky land
To fill it with cruelty and sand!
The land of history, architecture and fruits of thrills
Even are quivering Jehovah’s nostrils
She knows how to survive in cruelty and droughts
The red Sun rises after the morning frosts.
‘You are never lonely, you are our beloved
You come down to meet and get hugged
You are a land of mystic beauty and bravery
Nobody dares to make any mockery.’
Now the noisy BPL is drumming
Brave people in Rajshahi are humming
It is the experience of veteran Mushfiq and Pilot
To win, surely, they have a plot.
