The thing is, out of those 50 odd SLAs, we only have a handful of quality left arm spinners from which only one has had decent performance in test level. Gazi has been fairly successful in Tests as well.

BTW, about the sickening thing. The fact that it becomes seriously one-dimensional at times. And since the problem begins from the grass-root levels means that it will go onto haunt our local batsman. Why Local batsman? Since they are facing too many left armers, they are ill prepared to face quality seam bowling and so on. Why was it that our A team failed miserably in the England tour despite the team having boasted players with plenty of international experience. And its not that 1 or 2 teams go in with 2 SLAs, every single team at almost every domestic format seems to field atleast 2/3 Left arm spinners in every match. BTW, about Offies, there is barely much in the country. And as for pacers, its a must to have ATLEAST 2 pacers in your side and for tests ideally 3 of them.

IMO, we need more variation in the bowling attack starting from the domestics. Domestic side needs to concentrate more on offies and pace bowlers for the time being. This is my personal opinion.
