This is a no brainer. We should not even attempt a chase here, it'll only hasten the defeat. A draw against us is as good as a loss for every home team except Zimbabwe. So these type of opportunities will be available to us 9 times out of 10. We should only go for it when the odds are overwhelmingly stacked in our favor. How many times have we lost after scoring four five hundred runs in the first innings. We've only won against Zim and the WI B team. First we need to learn how to draw away from home and do it consistently before we can think about winning. Target should be not to lose more than 2 wickets in the first 50 overs. If Soumya really clicks and somehow we find ourselves at 300/2 after 60 overs, needing like 160 in 30 overs, only then we can risk losing couple more wickets to up the tempo.
