Noticed Nasir is involved with a lot of non cricketing activities. While there is no harm in all that, could it be a reason why team mgt think he isnt as focused as he should be?

It did seem strange that Papon would say things like that publicly. Sounded like something a khet paper would make up except it was in quotes.
All NT cricketers partake in ads and promotions. Shakib does more than anyone else. Why Nasir didn't play in the T20 WC isn't exactly the third secret of Fatima. He hasn't returned to his old batting form, and he was never a great T20 batsman anyway. He isn't a good T20 bowler either. He was in the team as a backup #7. Hom was picked over Nasir because Hom is a better T20 bowler. Nasir starts in ODIs because, surprisingly, he has been bowling well in ODIs.
