India captain Sourav Ganguly has been fined 80% of his match fee for intentionally wasting time on Thursday night against Australia in Sydney.
The match finished at 2330 local time following a break for rain, and India had not bowled their final three overs in the allotted time.
Australia ultimately won a thrilling game of cricket, successfully hitting 11 runs off the final over.
But match referee Clive Lloyd was not happy with Ganguly's tactics.
For a game to count, the team batting second has to receive 25 overs.
