So why a paint a picture that doesn't represent London? Particularly to people who don't know London and may visit to enjoy a global sporting event?

No advice is much better than bad advice.
Yes we are in agreement that London isnt rightfully represented, but the advice isnt without merit and I think there is no harm giving out some precautionary advice. Its people’s choice to take the advice or not.

And anyone who is already coming to the UK will think of not coming to London. I also dont think London’s image will be tarnished by a thread opened on a cricket forum.

And no one can and should give open assurances of safety wether its in jolly old London or Tim Buk Too.
