The only way these players can get better is when you let them play. How hard is it to manage team already full of superstars, and then 'forced' to buy a Ballack and a Shevchenko that you'd probably have on your fantasy team? Man United were deprived of such purchases (Obi-Mikel, Essien, Ballack) precisely by Chelsea's buying ability. You can blame Mourinho's departure on his relation with Roman, but like I said, a good manager knows good housekeeping, so you have the extra cash to spend when your owner isn't always feeling generous.
