Time to wake up this thread again.
Our PM went to the EU with a potential deal, the EU agreed to his deal. He came back and because the Conservatives don't have a majority govt ( i.e. don't have majority of seats and the Parliament incl. opposition vote on everything ), Parliament voted and accepted his deal. But, then they screwed up the govt. by not agreeing to WHEN the deal will be implemented.
So, our PM challenged the opposition to an election and they eventually agreed. Our election is taking place on 12th.
