it would serve us a better purpose in future if we could nurture the genuine pacers... But then we need to be a bit more tolerant with them...
i think we all like genuine pace prospects, problem is there aren't the proper pace bowling development programs in BD cricket so they don't develop properly, on top of that they're rushed in at a young age. we will see about abul though, rushing rubel worked, however he already had a number of weapons to his arsenal like the slingy action which makes it tougher for batsmen to pick up on his release of the ball and things like reverse swing to go with his pace. i'm not sure abul has any weapons yet outside of his pace.....

can't deny nazmul has been one of our best ODI pacers of the last couple of years, his stats show he's one of the best we have, problem with medium pacers is that unless they're really crafty and canny then they can get hit because they just aren't fast enough.

both can be effective, but genuine pace doesn't work without control and other weapons just like medium pace doesn't work without immaculate line, length, accuracy and variation.

but really when it comes down to it a genuine pacer has more potential to be effective, but BD needs places within the country to teach them how to bowl properly so they can be effective at the highest level.
