Chances are even if we develop 160-180 wickets, we ll still keep struggling in T20.

The format requires a special caliber of players-which we have largely failed to produce. Big hitters, innovative hitters, good death bowlers. Even spin, you need some sort of x factor. And here we cant even produce a leg spinner.

But i do agree with MHRAM. At least some high scoring wickets could give some of the players some confidence. At least, if the national players score some runs they ll gain sth. The logic provided by Nightwolf is precisely the reason why these wickets produce low scores. And we dont have the facility of using drop in pitches. So these wear out due to the high number of matches-which is why the game has spread out.
