I'd say Rahim is one of our best players of spin, still remember that 80 he made v Murali & co in 2007. He has been poorly utilised in T20s especially in the India game where the lefties were finding Ashwin unplayable so sending Rahim in early when run a ball was required could have done the job.
Overall, yes we do have serious issues against spin and it is partly to do with our ever weakening spin attacks domestically which is now woefully exposed on the world stage.
