I don’t think Mehedi is ready, needs to put up consistently good innings at 7/8 to get moved into the top 6, especially the way he started his international career with the bat (looked nothing but like a tail ender upon his arrival to international cricket). I’m assuming he is a lot better than when he first came along, if not then he’s not even a number 7 and probably not even a number 8.
