This is not just my opinion. Kumar Sangakara also wants it. Today it did cost us our morale and, to a smaller extent, respectibility. It is no accident that the minnows gets the wrong end of the deal. There is much less risk for the umpires to err in favor the more established (i.e. stronger) teams. I suspect that It is istictive and, therefore, not done intentionally. In UDRS we have a simple solution for it. I also wonder why ICC does not issue a match report on the performance of the umpires. They certainly evaluate it and, therefore, must be automatically avialble to the cricket boards. Why not share it among the ones who pay for it (i.e. those of us go the games or shell out sizeable fortune to the broadcasters and to the advertizers)? I am ...'ed beyond belief. Let us mount a grassroots movement for making UDRS mandatory.
