I think we have a very good example showing that literacy or formal education cannot guarantee superior performance.

That would be the example of Nafis Iqbal. He is a 'literate' kid by any standard. He was taught in an English medium school and speaks fluent English. But his performance is not indicative of his literacy.

I am sure he understands what a foreign coach tries to communicate to him better than anybody currently on the national team. But if he doesn't persevere and apply himself, he wouldn't be that big of an asset to our team in the final analysis.
