no wickets retain pace more...fast tracks yield more elastic collisions between ball and pitch, i.e less energy lost as heat and sound.
in england rubel crack 148k, nowhere near that speed in BD - fastes today 144.
in OZ, aamer is hitting 150+, nowhere near that speed in pakistan - fastest 146.
so rubel would likely be nearing 150 or exceeding it on the same wicket where ishant hit 153 or whatever - hardly hits 140 these days.
