Brazilian superstar Rivaldo has agreed the terms of a deal to bring him to The Premiership with Bolton Wanderers, although The Trotters are insisting no deal has yet been signed.
The Trotters look like pulling off their biggest transfer coup yet, as his agent told Sky Sports News that the former Milan and Barcelona man had agreed on terms to move to The Reebok Stadium.

Sam Allardyce has signed the likes of Ivan Campo, Jay-Jay Okocha and Youri Djorkaeff, but the addition of the former World Player of the Year is a massive boost for the club.

The 32-year-old Samba star became a free agent in February when he left Cruzeiro, and he has been linked with a number of moves since.

After an anxious wait for Trotters fans, his agent Peter Harrison has now told Sky Sports News that Rivaldo has agreed to move to England.

The World Cup winner had been back in Spain mulling over the deal but has now apparently decided that The Premiership will be his next destination.

Rivaldo is due to fly in to England next week to finalise the deal, although Bolton are still insisting that no deal has been signed, as they are still anxious about such a big signing.

The Brazilian could still back out of the deal, or find a problem upon his arrival in Bolton, and Bolton do not want to count their chickens on the massive transfer.
