Pens are staying , signed a lease for 30 years and not for sale!

Seasn tkts are sold out for the foreseeable future, a la the Steelers..

Salary cap enforcement means we have as good a chance to compete and win just as Rangers, Red wings etc..Look at the teams that won recent Stanley Cups. All from small market areas and smaller teams in stature. Ducks this year, Hurricanes the year before and Tampa before that...
its true i havent followed the arena news since the playoffs ended, but mario has been trying to sell the team, which he was forced to take on and which is deeply in the red. 2ndly leases can still be broken.

2ndly salary cap this year is 50 mil, that means bigger teams can way outspend smaller teams now, such wasnt the case for the 1st two years, since there was parity in small measure, most small teams like pens cant afford to pay more than 40-43 a years. next year salary cap will be even higher in the zone of 55 mil (now its closing in on the salaries paid by big teams before the lockout, aka 60+ mil range ), since canadian markets are doing extremely well, along with traditional american NHL zones.
