i guess its a combination of different factors. even though they are economically under developed, they do have soccer schools and inspired from previous generations. physique also plays a important part, thats why south asia dont produce good soccer players even though these countries are more poor than brazil. notice though ronaldo, ronaldinho etc. comes out of so called "poverty" they are quite well built, not like rahim, karim of bangladesh.
