Origin: I first wanted to respond in the match thread if not in cricket forum, but I realized this is more of an off topic post that belongs to FC.
Several of you mentioned match fixing. There is absolultely nothing wrong with spot fixing in cricket. Just like there is absolutely nothing wrong with conning people, selling your country, traitorship, cheating, scamming, lying, gaslighting, deceiving, manipulating, bending the rules, etc. Then people will say: "But Zeeshan, then why not just disrupt the stumps, mankad even when player is in the crease or just plain bowl wide or like cheat by changing scores." Again you are missing the EFFIN point. There is nothing WRONG with it.
Sure all these virtues are cute of being nice to people, polite, compassion, telling truth, honor, integrity, courage, valor, blah blah blah. All these might be good and what not, but then again that's JUST YOUR OPINION.
You cannot prove it that's how Universe works or for that matter whoever is in charge of the Universe wants. It's your own petulant, petty little EGOIC arrogant GIT mind thinks that's HOW universe should operate. YOU are projecting YOUR version of sanctity on the universe when BY NATURE universe is profane.
There is absolulte no way you can prove YOUR version of morality and ethics is the objective one.
Just frikkin look outside. Animal s#@, as did we humans before we tried to cover it up... lion snaps gazelle's neck. You don't see it going around giving charity. Hindu mythology talk of Kali which is basically another representation of dark and destructive force.
Nature annhiliates civilzation. This universe existed for billions of years and all the humanity's civilzation has been wiped clean along with its good and evil, vice and virtues, Bruno and Sodom and Gomorrah. Plague, cylcone, virus, rats, genocide, famine,war, povery etc ravaged and completely washed away humans without the Creator of the Universe even having to blink an eye. Let that sink in.
Universe doesn't give a flying f about ethics. That's YOUR construction from your own puny little mind encased in the cage having the arrogance to think that's how Universe should behave shoehorning YOUR version of ethics unto Nature like round peg on square whole.
Give this thread red arrows all you want so that you can sleep better. It wont change Reality. It's like saying you wanna cover up defecation of humans from the universe just cuz it offends your conscience. No. Maybe you are the problem, and it is YOU who needs to change.
