I am 100% behind Mash for cursing out those absentee doctors. This is a huge problem in Bangladesh - doctors in govt health centers not treating patients at the health centers, but making the patients come to doctors' private chambers at evening. I have relatives who do this and I still think this is a disgusting practice. If they don't want to work for the government, they should quit, instead of using their government posts to drive patients to their own practices.
As for the Cancer Specialist, Awami league is well known to overreact to any criticism from any government employee (they could have just dock part of his pay as warning, instead of jeopardizing the whole department). But I don't see how this was Mash's fault, don't think this was his call.
