Player substition is a huge change in cricket. They can change players based on how things are going on the field.
Lets say while chasing runs if the top order gets out early they can bring in another batsmen in place of a bowler as a batsmen.
Also while fielding if a player gets hurt, the team either has to play with one man short, because if he leaves the field while fielding he cannot come in during batting and the sub will be batting instead.
If the sub can come in and leave the field on and off then it will be hard to say what will happen.
Definitely would be interesting to watch what will happen when these are put to effect.
