It's really the same story in the end. The team's got talent, but lack the self belief. The culture of excuses is still well and alive. When the going gets tough, they get down on themselves very easily and obviously, better teams will amp up the pressure and take the game away in a hurry. That's really the worrying part and despite the talent level going up, the attitude still remains the same. Just look at the other subcontinental sides, and look at their level of confidence compared to ours.

This is also exactly why we cannot win Tests. One session we could be in it but in the very next we'll give the game away and we end up getting hammered. The ability is not the main problem, it's the mental attitude. Sadly, we're just mentally too weak to be a force in the game. I don't know what we can do about this. The players themselves in the end should take a good hard look at themselves and realize they still have a long ways to go and realize that they have to get mentally tougher. That comes from inside.
