Default Is there light at the end of the tunnel?

Short answer, no. In this T20 WC, only one team would end with ZERO points. BCB needs to go back to the drawing board. Unfortunately, the biggest need will not be addressed. BCB needs new leadership, a visionary like Saber Hossain Chowdhury. Oh well, a fan can dream.

1. Coaching staff has to go. The team's regression in ALL departments was painful to watch.
2. Captaincy was even worse. I have been complaining about bowling changes and field placement for quite some time. Sourav Ganguly was complaining about the same issues today.
3. The only batsman NOT to stink this tournament was Anamul. Everyone else struggled.
4. Spin bowling was supposed to be strength of this team. It was not. We need to go back and look at the other options. Enamul Jr should be given a few matches. There are many others, including Tajul, Arafat, and Nur. Gazi and Razzak have been brutal lately. They need to go.
5. Pace bowling was not supposed to be a strength, but Al-Amin was the best bowler for BD. Taskin also showed some promise. However, they need to be handled with care. Mushfiqur overbowled Robiul in SL and ZIM. Now, he is injured.
6. There can be no excuse for the poor fielding. They might even institute some kind of financial punishment for bad miss.
7. Nothing will work without changing the attitude of the team. Almost the same team nearly won Asia Cup in 2012. Now look at them. A system of accountability and transparency has to be in place. Even if we cannot have the Australian system (perform or you are out), we should try. No one should get a free ride because they were good at some time in the past.
